Assignment 3- Overlapping action

This assignment was a bit difficult for me, I'm still having some trouble with my timing and spacing of the frames. Either I seem to make things go too fast or too slow. I also hope to improve on my model following skills I decided to just use an orange ball with no limbs for simplicity sake. I did give it some eyes to give it some life and expression as it goes over the pitfall. The snapping gator I'm actually really proud of, it still looks wobbly but im satisfied with its timing. The inspiration for this project came from the old atari game, Pitfall.

Assignment 2 wip

For this assignment we are creating a pendelum like motion interacting with an object. Currently, I want to imitate a moment from a sonic the hedgehog game. Getting the speed juuuust right where it moves both in a believable but a correct way so it looks like its has weight and mass.

Animation Project 1- Oddish

For our class assignment, we had to do the old bouncing ball exercise. We had to have the object interact with an object and I thought what better than a poke ball.  I imagine that pokeballs are surprising heavy items, not very bouncy. I imitated a bouncing baseball thrown  downwards with a bit of force.    I had done  a few practices before creating the final product. Im new to animation and to Harmony so I definitely needed to get familiar with the program. After watching a few bouncing ball videos on you tube, practicing a few different types of bounces, I started the animation process.     I made sure to space the ball farther apart when I want it to go fast, squashing and stretching even though its a solid object, I need some slight exaggeration to make it look good.  and of course the frames towards the end are close together, about one onto of the other on the different frames.      ...
